Maxxine Dupri has already proven numerous times that she can defeat Becky Lynch, and Adam Pearce has already told her that she has a Women's Intercontinental Championship match whenever she wants it.
Dupri asked for a delay in the match because she had to call someone, but it seems that while speaking to Chris Van Vliet, she opened up about the real reason for the delay.
“For me, it’s like that moment of ‘Yes, I’ve done enough work that I’m capable of doing this. I’m capable of winning this title.’ It’s more for me, throughout the end of this year, I want to wrestle as much as I can. I want to stay on NXT Live. I want to be booked and busy. I want to wrestle dark matches. I want to wrestle Main Event. I want to have rep after rep after rep so that when those opportunities come, I can step into the ring with full confidence," she revealed.Dupri has been able to prove her worth on WWE TV over the past few weeks, and it seems that she wants to ensure that she is prepared when she takes on Becky Lynch for her Championship.
Dupri hasn't been wrestling for as long as many of the other women on the RAW roster at the moment, but it seems that she has been looking to push forward with a newfound confidence as of late.
What's next for Maxxine Dupri on WWE RAW?
Maxxine Dupri already noted as part of the interview that she wants to be booked and busy over the next few months and that means appearing in dark matches on NXT and Main Event.
It's unclear when she will cash in her title shot on Becky Lynch, but it's clear that she's coming into this match prepared.
