During Wednesday's bout with the Baltimore Orioles, New York Yankee ace Max Fried left after three innings with an apparent injury. It was later deemed that Fried was suffering from "left elbow posterior soreness."
It is currently unclear how long the southpaw will miss, but with Gerrit Cole already beginning the season recovering from injury, another lengthy tenure on the injured list is far from asked for.
