Matthew Stafford's wife Kelly pays special homage to Dodgers icon Clayton Kershaw at Rams game after World Series win vs. Blue Jays

Matthew Stafford’s wife, Kelly, paid a special tribute to MLB star Clayton Kershaw after he retired from the game. Kershaw and the Los Angeles Dodgers went on to defend their World Series title last week by defeating the Toronto Blue Jays in a seven-game series. This September, Kershaw announced that he would be retiring from the sport at the end of the 2025 season.

Kelly Stafford paid tribute to him at the Los Angeles Rams’ Week 9 game against the New Orleans Saints. She attended the NFL matchup to cheer for her husband with their daughters in Dodgers outfits. She offered a glimpse of their outing in a post on Instagram on Monday with a caption:

"Another Sunday of getting to watch you and your no lookers"

Matthew and Kelly's four daughters wore white Dodgers jerseys, and on the back, it had the name “Kershaw” with his jersey number “22.”

Kelly Stafford matched her daughters' attire as she donned a Kershaw jersey over a black top and pants.

Clayton Kershaw spent the entirety of his decorated 18-year career playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers. During that time, he won an NL MVP, three NL Cy Young Awards, and two World Series rings.

"It’s hard to put into words, honestly,” Kershaw said (via MLB.com). “I’m just so grateful. The way that my career, this season, has ended has been more than I could have ever hoped for. I’m just a little bit speechless, a little bit shocked that we won this one tonight.”

Kershaw made two appearances during the Dodgers' postseason run. One was a brief one-out stint in the Dodgers' 18-inning win against the Blue Jays in Game 3 of the World Series.

Matthew Stafford and his wife, Kelly, attended Game 4 of the World Series last month between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays. She shared a few pictures of their outing in a post on Instagram with a caption cheering for the Dodgers.

"LA. >>>> #worldseries," she wrote.

Kelly and Matthew Stafford donned matching gray outfits for the game day. They also wore an LA Dodgers cap for the outing.

Matthew Stafford and Co. are also having a good season so far in the NFL. They are 6-2 and will next face off against the San Francisco 49ers on Nov. 9.
