Matt Rhule channels his inner Bert Sugar with Kentucky Derby outfit

As it turns out, Bill Belichick wasn't the only college football coach to show up at Churchill Downs for the Kentucky Derby over the weekend. The UNC football coach got the most attention with WAG Jordon Hudson, but Matt Rhule seemed to slide in the backdoor unnoticed.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers coach took in the sights and sound of Louisville dressed up like a familiar figure in the sports world.

While Bert Sugar hasn't walked the earth in a little over 14 years, Rhule came out looking like a spitting image of the former sportswriter. He had on a signature fedora with a designer suit and button-down shirt. Needless to say, Rhule seemed to be enjoying his time away from the day-to-day grind in Lincoln.

Husker fans can only hope the team's play will be as good as his outfit. This feels like a make-or-break season for Rhule and Nebraska. After nearly hitting rock bottom in the Big Ten and struggling to find consistency, anything less than a eight-win campaign and pushing toward a quality postseason appearance would feel like a bust in Lincoln.

Losing starting quarterback Dylan Raiola to Oregon will be tough to overcome. However, this is where Rhule has made his money at previous stops with his back against the wall.

Nebraska opens the season on Sept. 5 against Ohio before a difficult Big Ten slate, which includes home games against defending national champions Indiana and Ohio State.
