In the three decades she’s been on TV, Martha Stewart has barely aged.
The mogul turned 85 on August 3 and, in celebratory fashion, re-created her 1995 People Magazine cover for the milestone event.
Though she’s traded her East Hampton Lily Pond Lane house for her Bedford, NY farm, she smiles at the photographer, holding a chicken and wearing a similar denim button-up, with her blond hair perfectly coifed.
When asked about her ageless look, Stewart insists “I have good genes,” adding, “My mom looked great at 95.”
She further divulged her beauty secrets, stating, “We eat well. We don’t drink very much. We don’t smoke. We eat healthy food. We exercise daily. I horseback-ride.”
As for cosmetic surgery? Stewart still stands staunchly in the “no” category.
“I use a little bit of fillers,” she admits, though added, “I have not had any plastic surgery at all.”
“I don’t think I need it,” she stated matter-of-factly.
What she will indulge in are trips to Dr. Dan Belkin, whom she calls a superb dermatologist, as well as “facial exercises” and “the best facials” from Mario Badescu and Georgia Louise.
She adds, “Peptides are very good. I take a few peptides. So that’s what I do. I’m more a maintenance kind of person. I’m not getting boobs done and hips and butts and stuff like that.”
Back in January, Stewart addressed rumors of plastic surgery. Also speaking to People, she shared, “Everybody insists that I’ve had plastic surgery and I have not ever had plastic surgery.”
“I’m the most honest person on earth — but if they won’t take my word for it, I don’t know,” she added to the debate.
Thrilled with both her “beautiful gardens” as well as “enough money to support [her] family and treat [her] friends,” there is one thing Stewart, who says she “couldn’t care less about being rich and famous,” still has on her wish list.
“I would like a yacht — a big yacht,” adding, “I don’t have that yet.”
