The Miami Marlins have been a pretty interesting team this year. They have dealt with quite a few injuries, especially to their pitching staff, but they have not let that stop them.
Despite losing Janson Junk, Robby Snelling, and Eury Perez to the IL last month, others have stepped up in their place. With what could have crushed other teams, Miami has been thriving.
They have clawed their way back to a 36-36 record, but that could have been a lot worse if they hadn't had an exceptional week last week.

Marlins' hot streak continues as they make massive climb up the rankings
The Marlins are coming off a week where they were up against two solid opponents. They took on the Arizona Diamondbacks and then the Pittsburgh Pirates, but came out on top.
They were able to sweep the D-backs in three games while taking the series against the Buccos 2-1. That has helped them climb up the rankings, as they now sit in the No. 10 spot, according to Bleacher Report's Joel Reuter.
"The Marlins have the best record in baseball since the start of June, going 10-2 in their last 12 games to get back to .500 on the year. The pitching staff has twirled a 2.52 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 120 strikeouts in 107 innings this month, and they have done it after losing Eury Perez, Janson Junk and Robby Snelling all to injury in late May."
Now, the Marlins will have another test this week when they face off against the Philadelphia Phillies, who have truly turned their season around after parting ways with manager Rob Thomson.
After that, Miami might get a bit of a break as they take on the struggling San Francisco Giants, but that's not a team they should overlook, especially with what Matt Chapman and Bryce Eldridge have done lately.
