Mariners' Josh Naylor fadeaway home run, bat flip is must-see highlight

It took Josh Naylor a while to find the groove this season.

The Seattle Mariners' first baseman is definitely feeling good right now.

All you have to do is look at the three-run home run he crushed against the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday night.

First, he found a way to somehow hit it like a fadeaway jumper, almost backing up as he pulled the ball way out of the ballpark to right field.

And then he tossed an incredibly swagged-up bat flip into the air.

This is the player the Mariners signed to a five-year, $92 million contract in the offseason. Naylor is a tone setter, an energy creator, the guy you absolutely love to have on your side and not the other team.

It's also just quite cool that baseball has grown to this place. Naylor should be able to celebrate a home run like this.

Hitting is hard. Crushing the ball like that? It's worth some fun.

Naylor certainly knows how to enjoy himself on the ballfield, and right now, life is good for Naylor and the Mariners.
