In a win-or-go-home scenario, the Seattle Mariners are trying to make franchise history by advancing to their first World Series in the team's existence.

Seattle has to do it while going into Toronto and knocking off the top-seed Blue Jays in Game 7 of the ALCS.

During the all-or-nothing game, Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh has continued to put on a show in his MVP hopeful season. He implemented his name into history once again in one of the greatest seasons from a catcher of all time.

Cal Raleigh sets MLB record for most home runs by a catcher in first 20 postseason games

In the top of the fifth inning, Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh hit a 381-foot bomb to right field, putting Seattle up by two runs over the Toronto Blue Jays.

Raleigh's home run was his sixth of his postseason career. According to MLB insider Sarah Langs, it's the most ever by a catcher through his first 20 career postseason games.

The impressive part – Raleigh accomplished the feat in just 17 postseason appearances.

It's just one more record the Mariners catcher has broken in arguably the most dominant season for a catcher in MLB history.

During the regular season, he set multiple records, including the most home runs by a catcher, switch-hitter, and a Seattle Mariners player with 60. He also extended his own mark for the most home runs by an American League player in a single season, with 65 and counting.

The sky's the limit for Cal Raleigh, who will turn 29 in late November.
