Mariners’ Cal Raleigh bobblehead embraces the best nickname in baseball, 'Big Dumper'

Cal Raleigh has a bobblehead night coming up.

That isn't unusual for a star player who just signed a big contract extension with the Seattle Mariners.

But the nature of the bobblehead's promotion is a little different.

Here's what the Mariners shared on social media to draw in the fans:

omg Becky, look at that bobblehead

Raleigh's nickname is "Big Dumper," given to him by former teammate Jared Kelenic as a reference to the size of Raleigh's backside.

The name has stuck, and now it's even being emphasized on a promotional giveaway.

Raleigh can't mind too much, because things have gone right to get him to this stage of popularity.

The switch-hitting catcher hit 34 home runs and drove in 100 runs last season, and he just signed a six-year, $105 million deal.

Having a bobblehead to go with it, no matter the dimensions, is an added bonus.
