It's pro-day season, which means NFL prospects get one final chance to impress teams with on-field workouts. In LSU's pro day on Monday, cornerback Mansoor Delane showed out in front of NFL scouts.
The 22-year-old Delane skipped much of the NFL Combine in February, so Monday was his chance to perform on-field workouts in front of prospective NFL teams. The top-ranked prospect did exactly that, turning heads with his 40-yard dash time after not running a month ago.
Here's a look at Delane's blazing 40-yard dash on Monday.

NFL Combine vs. pro day 40 times
The 40-yard dash at pro days is different than the event at the NFL Combine, because one is run by college programs and the other is run by the NFL. Often times, players will choose to skip the 40-yard dash at the combine to focus solely on the event at the pro day, since the players and their colleges have more control over the pro day version.
In both instances, NFL scouts time the run themselves, so even if the league has an official combine number, teams might have a different one based on their times. The same situation is in place at pro days, as scouts evaluate the workouts on their own.
