Manchester City Football Club has announced an expansion in Dallas, Texas, specifically to train children and youth through a new youth soccer club, Manchester City North Texas FC.

"Manchester City has launched a new youth soccer club, Manchester City North Texas FC, that will deliver world-class coaching and development-focused training for boys and girls from ages 8-19," reads the official statement from the English club.

The project will be based on a structure built around the principles used at the City Football Academy in Manchester, which has produced world-class talent.

"Manchester City North Texas FC represents the Club's first full-time youth development presence in the United States and will be the first of many full-time programs in different cities across the country."

According to Man City's statement, this new initiative will include teams for ages 8-19, which will compete in leagues and tournaments across the United States. They will have school-based programs and community-based programs across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Children and youth who participate in this initiative will have the opportunity to train in Manchester for periods of time. "In addition to year-round programming in Dallas, the club will offer seasonal camps and exclusive experiences, including opportunities for players to train at the City Football Academy in Manchester."

Manchester City North Texas FC will have full-time coaches who will move to Dallas to train Texas youth and children with the English club's methodology.

"This marks another important step in our ambition to deliver world-class coaching and development programs to young players across the United States," said Jorgina Busquets, Managing Director of Football Education, Recreation & Partner Clubs at City Football Group.

Registration for summer camps has already opened, with dates available between June and July 2026. You can express your interest on Manchester City's official website.
