Man Utd target travels to Manchester as Ruben Amorim set to complete first summer signing image

Manchester United’s summer transfer window may just be warming up, but it looks like Ruben Amorim is already close to sealing his first piece of business.

French forward Enzo Kana-Biyik is reportedly set to travel to Manchester on Wednesday to finalize a move to the Premier League giants.

The 18-year-old has impressed at youth level for Le Havre, scoring nine goals in 15 games this season.

Though he hasn’t yet made a senior appearance, Kana-Biyik has been on the bench a couple of times — enough to turn heads across Europe. United, however, seem to have won the race, beating out several interested clubs.

Born in Paris and developed at Le Havre, Kana-Biyik is the latest young talent to follow the Sir Jim Ratcliffe blueprint — full of promise and potential rather than headline-making fees.

Sources in France claim that his representatives have informed Le Havre he won’t be signing a new deal, with his contract due to expire in June.

Why Manchester United want to sign Enzo Kana-Biyik?

According to Le Parisien (via journalist Benjamin Quarez), once the deal is done, Kana-Biyik will be loaned to FC Lausanne-Sport — another club under the INEOS umbrella.

United believe the youngster will benefit more from regular senior football than academy action at Old Trafford.

It’s a move that mirrors the club’s recent strategy. The likes of Sekou Kone, Ayden Heaven, and Chido Obi have already joined the setup under this long-term plan.

Think of it as building for the future — one goal poacher at a time.

Kana-Biyik may not be lighting up the Premier League just yet, but the red carpet is ready. And if he lives up to expectations, we may be looking at the next gem in the club’s attacking crown.
