Manchester United's summer transfer plans rest on the outcome of their Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Red Devils are languishing in 17th position in the Premier League points table, and winning the Europa League is their only hope of qualifying for the Champions League next season.
The qualification is extremely important as it will give them an added advantage in negotiations, as per The Independent. Amidst all of this, a new name has emerged for the Red Devils as The talkSPORT states United have held talks to sign Bournemouth's Antoine Semenyo this summer.
However, whether they can land the £70m forward or not depends on United's outcome in the Europa League.
Meanwhile, the report also suggests that United will have the opportunity to sign Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap even if they make it to the Champions League next season. The English striker has a £30m ($40m) relegation release clause.
Ruben Amorim is determined to make wholesale changes and has admitted that he deserves to go if the club remains in this position next season.

The Red Devils are looking to offload some of their attackers this summer. They are willing to let go of Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee. The duo have collectively scored seven goals in the Premier League this season.
While Juventus are reportedly interested in Hojlund, Inter Milan are looking to loan Zirkzee. United invested a total of sum of £108m ($143.7m) in the two forwards, and the fact that they are searching for buyers for them in the market after three years tells a lot about their recruitment process.
Apart from Semenyo and Delap, United are keen on signing Wolves star Matheus Cunha. However, it depends on their qualification to the Champions League next season and also their ability to sell the struggling forwards.
Manchester United were interested in Semenyo back in 2018
Interestingly, Semenyo has seen his stocks rise this season. He has been electric on the left flank for the Cherries, and therefore clubs like United, Chelsea and even Liverpool are interested in the Ghanaian winger.

As per the same reports, Manchester United were interested in the winger back in December 2018 when he was 18 years old. Back then, he was on loan with League Two outfit Newport County from Bristol City.
But the deal never materialized, and now, after so many years, the Red Devils have rekindled their interest. Semenyo has scored 11 goals while providing six assists in 40 appearances this season across competitions.
His blistering pace, great dribbling and versatility to play on both flanks make him a dynamic option for any team. He is equally good on both feet, and that makes him even more unpredictable in the final third.
The 25-year-old has spent three seasons with Bournemouth, and this has been his best in terms of goalscoring output. So there's a possibility of him leaving Vitality Stadium at the end of the season as he aims to take the next step in his career.
