Malia Obama is in her directing era.

The eldest daughter of Barack and Michelle Obama added another entry to her resume by directing the latest A'ja Wilson commercial, which showcases her new A'One sneaker—the first in Wilson's signature sneaker lineup. The Harvard University graduate has taken on a number of directing and screenwriting projects, working on HBO's "Girls," "Swarm," and the 2023 short film "The Heart," which was screened at Sundance Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival.

Obama was captured on set with Wilson and a young actress starring in the shoot alongside her. As for the A’Ones, Nike and Wilson are set to drop the "Pink A'ura" colorway first on May 6 at 10am EST. The shoes will be available via Nike SNKRS, and retail for $110 in adult sizes and $90 in kids sizes.

Wilson also recently previewed the "Pearl" colorway, which is receiving attention for its captivating soft blue hue and white accents. There's also subtlety of grey scattered throughout that provide an elegant contrast to the white and blue mixtures present. According to Nike, the shoes will release on May 15, and will be set for a retail price of $110.

The "Pearl" joins the "Blue Fury" colorway, which is also slated for a May 15 release. According to Wilson, there's also some fun Easter eggs within the design of the silhouette, which she revealed to Elle magazine reporter Adrienne Gaffney back in February.
