Major star pays tribute to Hulk Hogan before huge match; gets destroyed

Boxing sensation Jake Paul recently made headlines with a unique tribute to wrestling legend Hulk Hogan. The star was at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, for his match against Anthony Joshua.

The bout was part of a high-profile boxing card available exclusively to Netflix subscribers. The Problem Child was booked against Joshua, a former heavyweight champion. This was one of the most anticipated matchups of the year, pitting sports with entertainment in a unique boxing spectacle.

Paul showed up in the iconic red and yellow, an homage to The Hulkster. He had a logo done in the Hogan font. He also sported a classic Hulkamania jacket while making his way to the ring. The look was complete with yellow sunglasses and a red sweatband on his head. Jake's entrance music also started with the classic Real American, a song Hogan used throughout most of his wrestling career. He was accompanied by his brother and WWE Superstar, Logan Paul.

However, the night did not go as planned for the Problem Child. The bout ended in the sixth round with Joshua declared the winner via referee stoppage. Anthony Joshua dominated the final rounds of the match, landing 20 punches in round five and 11 punches in round six.


Hulk Hogan passed away earlier this year

On July 24, the wrestling world was deeply saddened by the shocking news of Hulk Hogan's passing. Tributes poured in for the wrestling legend, as wrestlers and fans around the globe remembered the iconic wrestler.

WWE also paid a heartfelt tribute to the legend on both RAW and SmackDown. The entire roster showed up on the entrance stage for a ten-bell salute. The shows were dedicated to the legendary wrestler, and the company even aired emotional video packages, honoring the life and legacy of the Immortal One.
