WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 is currently scheduled to take place on February 28. It will be the first instance of the premium live event happening in Chicago. However, the Stamford-based wrestling promotion has yet to officially announce the venue for the show.

Earlier today, PWInsider reported that the global juggernaut was planning to have the PLE in the Allstate Arena. In addition to the Elimination Chamber, WWE was reportedly considering having the go-home edition of Friday Night SmackDown, NXT, and AAA events during the weekend. However, the Event Calendar on the venue's official website is marked with Monster Jam Freestyle Mania from February 27 to March 1, 2026.

In a recent X/Twitter post, Andrew Baydala noted that he worked closely with the Allstate Arena and Monster Jam. He added that neither of the two has cancelled or rescheduled the Monster Jam event. Baydala specifically mentioned that "anything is possible," insinuating that reschedules could take place.

He wrote:

"Someone passed along to me that PWI is reporting that the #WWE Elimination Chamber weekend, taking place in Chicago, will be held at the Allstate Arena. I have heard the exact opposite. Anything is possible, and I have a ton of respect for PWI/Mike Johnson (does great work), but I work directly with Monster Jam, and the building, and they have not cancelled or rescheduled their events during that weekend (2/27-3/1). Now, if they move the event to March, the building would have some open dates. Stay tuned."

WWE could change the date for Elimination Chamber 2026

The unavailability of the Allstate Arena during the weekend might not be the only reason for WWE to reconsider rescheduling the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event.

In a recent edition of Wrestling Observer's Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that the wrestling promotion could change the date by a week to counter-program AEW's pay-per-view during that time frame.

"Rumble has already been noted for 1/31 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Elimination Chamber is currently scheduled for 2/28 in Chicago. The Rumble date is pretty locked in. It wouldn’t shock me to see the Chamber date changed a week in either direction if they want to compete with AEW. Both current dates are on Saturday, and when it isn’t football season, AEW generally does its PPV shows on Sundays,” Meltzer wrote. [H/T: WrestlingNews]

Only time will tell if WWE decides to reschedule the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event.
