A popular AEW star is set to make their debut in a major wrestling promotion outside of the Jacksonville-based promotion.
That star is Alex Windsor, who joined AEW earlier this year after making a name for herself in the UK Independent Scene. The 32-year-old achieved her biggest highlight yet after defeating Mercedes Mone to win the RevPro Undisputed British Women's Championship, a title the CEO had put out an open challenge for at a recent edition of Collision. Although it is not an All Elite Wrestling championship, winning the RevPro title still marks a major milestone for Windsor as she continues her ascent in the Jacksonville-based promotion's women's division. That said, the British star is set to make her debut in another prominent promotion outside of AEW, and that promotion is STARDOM.
Earlier today, STARDOM confirmed Windsor's debut in their promotion, scheduled for January 3 at New Year Dream 2026. Windsor will compete in both the daytime and evening events, teaming with Starlight Kid & Mei Seira during the day, and with Kikyo Furusawa in the evening.
Alex Windsor responds to claims that AEW signed her because of Will Ospreay
In a recent conversation with The Sun Sport, Alex Windsor addressed long-standing comments that she is employed by AEW only because she is the fiancée of one of its most popular stars, Will Ospreay. The "Iron Willed" star admitted that while the comments sometimes get under her skin, they also motivate her to prove her detractors wrong.
"I do think it’s a bit of a cop-out, and it’s very easy to just say, ‘Oh, she’s only here because of him,’ rather than being like, ‘Okay, well, she’s his girlfriend or fiancée — cool, I’ll check her out...So I think for a lot of fans who aren’t familiar with me, it’s probably easy to just say, ‘Oh yeah, she’s only here because of him.’ But that just makes me think, ‘You know what? I’m going to prove you wrong.”" [H/T- Ringside News ]It will be interesting to see what Tony Khan has planned for Alex Windsor in 2026.
