Maine's MPA high school boys basketball playoff brackets, full results and schedules for 2026 state championships

Maine's MPA boys basketball state championship pairings are now set with the games scheduled to begin Friday, February 27, when the Class B state championship is played at the Cross Center in Bangor, Maine.

That game will feature the Gardiner [ME] Tigers against the Yarmouth [ME] Clippers before attention turns to a full slate of state title games on Saturday, February 28. Those games will tip off at the Augusta Civic Center with an early afternoon contest between the Easton [ME] Bears and the Valley [Bingham, ME] Cavaliers getting the day started.

Immediately following that game, the Class D championship game will feature the Machias [ME] Bulldogs against the Monmouth [ME] Academy Mustangs. The nightcap will then pit the final two Class C teams against each other when the Fort Kent [ME] Warriors square off against the Maranacook [Readfield, ME] Black Bears.

While the evening action is taking place in Augusta, down the road in Maine's largest city, the hometown Portland [ME] Bulldogs will take on the Camden Hills [Rockport, ME] Windjammers in the state's top-level Class A state championship game. That game will take place just a little over three months after the Bulldogs played for the state championship in football, losing, 28-0, to the Thornton Academy [Saco, ME] Trojans.
