The Material Girl has arrived at the Met Gala.
Madonna made her way down the red carpet at Vogue’s 2025 ball wearing a classic white tuxedo, courtesy of Tom Ford by Haider Ackermann.
She paired her iconic look with a matching bow tie, boutonnière and embroidered sheer gloves.
Madonna, 66, held tightly onto an unlit cigar.
She later pretended to take a hit while posing on the blue carpet.
The “Popular” singer styled her blond locks back and wore light peach-colored glam.
The Queen of Pop, 66, is famous for her envelope-pushing Met Gala ensembles; at the “Punk: Chaos to Couture”-themed event in 2013, she was one of the few to fully embrace the dress code, going pantsless in a studded plaid Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci blazer teamed with ripped fishnet tights, a peekaboo bra and plenty of chains.
She took an even bigger sartorial risk in 2016, baring her butt and breasts in a cutout lace look from the same label — intended as “a political statement as well as a fashion statement,” as she later explained in an Instagram post defending the daring ensemble.
“When it comes to women’s rights we are still in the dark ages,” Madonna wrote at the time.
“The fact that people actually believe a woman is not allowed to express her sexuality and be adventurous past a certain age is proof that we still live in an ageist and sexist society.”
Madge’s most recent Met Gala appearance was in 2018, when she performed at the “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination”-themed party wearing one of Jean Paul Gaultier’s iconic corseted cone bras she made famous during her 1990 Blond Ambition World Tour.
