Dallas Mavericks fans are growing increasingly upset and losing patience with Anthony Davis after he missed his sixth consecutive game due to injury. Davis has only played 14 regular-season games for the Mavericks since they acquired him from the LA Lakers in the shocking Luka Doncic trade in February.

The Mavericks ruled out Davis for the sixth straight game on Monday against the Milwaukee Bucks. He's dealing with a low-grade calf strain suffered on Oct. 29 versus the Indiana Pacers. He was initially ruled out for at least two games, but it has been six in a row, possibly longer.

The good news for the Mavs is that he has been tagged as questionable in the past two games before getting downgraded to out. He's making progress, although his propensity to get injured has frustrated the fanbase even more. Doncic playing like an MVP doesn't help ease the trade that shocked the world.

After the news of Anthony Davis' injury update and the number of games he has missed since his acquisition, Dallas Mavericks fans are revolting on X, formerly known as Twitter. Some are arguing that Nico Harrison's concern about Luka Doncic was his health and conditioning, yet he went for a player notoriously known for being injury-prone.

While Davis has been fantastic as long as he's healthy, there's a reason some of his fan-given nicknames are "Day-to-Davis" and "Street Clothes." Here are some of the reactions on X.

While Anthony Davis has been limited to just 14 games, Luka Doncic has played 34 regular-season games since the trade. He's averaging 29.7 points, 8.4 rebounds, 7.9 assists and 1.6 steals per game, and the LA Lakers are 22-12 in those games.

On the other hand, the Dallas Mavericks are 8-6 in the games Davis has played so far.

While the Dallas Mavericks' initial update on Anthony Davis was unrealistic, coach Jason Kidd gave a concerning message regarding the injury. Kidd told reporters before the game that Davis is making progress and has even participated in practices.

However, AD currently has no timetable for a return, as per Marc Stein of The Stein Line. Despite his two questionable tags in the past two games, Davis could still be out longer.

The Mavericks are 3-7 entering Monday's game and are desperate to get as many wins as possible. Only 26 teams with that record since 2000 have made the postseason, which is the goal of the team at the start of the campaign.
