Love Island USA star gets Jalen Hurts lookalike claim

Ladies, no need to flood Jalen Hurts' comments, because a new Love Island USA star is giving lookalike comparisons.

Ronnie Gunter entered the villa on Day 17 (Sunday, June 21) and was officially one of this season’s Casa Amor boys.

What do Jalen Hurts and Ronnie Gunter have in common?

Gunter also has a couple of similarities to Hurts based on athleticism and age. The Love Island USA star is 25, and the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback is 27. While Hurts hails from Houston, Texas, and Gunter is from New York, they both are athletic. Hurts plays in the NFL and is one of the top quarterbacks in the league. While Gunter hasn't played sports professionally, he played lacrosse for Drexel University.

Are Jalen Hurts and Ronnie Gunter single?

Hurts has been off the market since college when he began dating his now-wife Bryonna “Bry” Burrows. The two tied the knot in a private ceremony in the spring of 2025 and had a second celebration in Napa Valley, California, on June 14, 2025.

As for Gunter, he is single after being dumped from Love Island USA after one day when the women had chosen different men to couple up with. It is possible that Gunter could return as a bombshell later in the season, but for now he will be awaiting that text to enter back into the villa.

The Eagles star is currently on his offseason before the start of the 2026-2027 NFL season. As the Philly team finished minicamp earlier this month, preparation for their offense under Sean Mannion, Hurts shared that he's looking forward to working on. 

“I think it’s been a really good spring. Being able to onboard another new system and put everything together. Lay the foundation,” Hurts said per Sports Illustrated. “So, I’m encouraged by that, I’m encouraged by the work that we were able to put in. We got a fun summer ahead of us, and it’ll be a fun training camp, being able to get back on the grass.” 

The Eagles will kick off their preseason against the Baltimore Ravens on August 15.
