Is it still a "foster fail" if the foster comes back to you?
In the foster world, I'd call that a foster kitty lottery win. As an expert of all things feline related, here at the I Can Has Headquarters, we pride ourselves on our ability to call out the pawrticularly special cat tales. Oftentimes, a cat will burrow their way into your heart—as all cats do—but it's not every day that we see a feline bailing on their foster placement so they can be returned to their foster mama instead.

Adorably, this feline in our next story, Jonathan, was raised for weeks on the bottle with a woman who was determined to keep him and his littermates alive without a kitty bio-mom. So after bonding with her and seeing her as his hooman mother replacement, Jonathan could hardly imagine moving in with some other family, and even after a year, it was impawssible for him not to think of his real mom.
