Livvy Dunne rocks bikini for ‘Hot Girl Fishing’ trend in latest viral video

Livvy Dunne may have found her next calling following her retirement announcement. The 22-year-old recently wrapped up her gymnastics career, but it seems she’s traded it in for a different sport — fishing.

The Louisiana State University alum is showing fans she can catch a hook just as easily as she could stick a landing on the beam.

On Thursday, May 8, Dunne joined a popular TikTok trend where users swap the classic ‘hot girl walk’—another viral TikTok concept—for something that better fits their personal interests.

In Dunne’s case, that something is fishing. In the viral video, the influencer posed in a red bikini and denim shorts while holding a fishing rod. She casted her line into the ocean and reeled it back in, captioning the clip, “forget hot girl walk, it’s time for hot girl fishing.”

It seems the social media star is soaking up the sun and enjoying her post-grad freedom. Since graduating from LSU, Dunne has been spotted traveling across the country.

Earlier this month, she attended the 151st Kentucky Derby, followed closely by a beach getaway in Florida.

During her vacation, Dunne shared several photos and videos featuring her and her family enjoying the beach. However, it’s not all fun in the sun — she’s also on the lookout for a new home.

The Sports Illustrated model revealed she’s hoping to expand her real estate portfolio. In a separate TikTok posted in May 2025, Dunne wrote, “First-semester grad school done, house hunting at the beach, bought a NYC apt, and walking to get a piña colada — life is sweet like cinnamon.”

Life is definitely sweet for the former gymnast, who announced her retirement in April 2025. While moving on from her gymnastics career, it seems Dunne is fully embracing fishing and casting a line into new waters—both literally and figuratively.
