Liverpool's Mo Salah breaks Man United legend's Premier League record as goal drought ends

Liverpool suffered a 3-2 loss against Brentford in their last Premier League clash on October 26 at Gtech Community Stadium.

The Reds have now faced four consecutive defeats in the top flight, which rank them seventh in the league table with 15 points in nine matches.

Liverpool started the Premier League campaign strongly with back-to-back victories in their first five matches, but their recent drop in form has raised concerns about their odds of achieving success this season.

Even though the match on Sunday ended in a loss, there was some good news for the Reds and their fans as their star winger, Mohamed Salah, found the back of the net against the Bees to conclude his goal drought of six games across competitions.

With that goal, which was his 277th goal contribution for Liverpool in the Premier League, Salah broke a record in the top flight that was previously held by Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney.

Salah now has the most goal involvements for a single club in the competition's history, surpassing Rooney's  276 goal contributions for the Red Devils.
