Liverpool, Barcelona among teams linked for Chelsea wonderkid

The last few years have seen Chelsea become a hub for some of the world's brightest talents to come through and make a name for themselves in one of the top leagues around the globe. Whether it was Malo Gusto, Marc Guiu, or Romeo Lavia, Stamford Bridge has been the place to see the bright stars of years to come.

At the moment, the Blues have one wonderkid lighting up the sky for them, Estevao, who they brought in from the Brazilian side Palmeiras for a €60m transfer fee back in 2024. Since then, the Brazilian has yet to fully set the world alight, but has shown some promising signs, recording four goal involvements across 22 appearances in the 2025-26 campaign.

He has even broken into the Brazilian national team setup, taking to the field during some World Cup qualifier matches, which didn't gurantee him a spot at the actual event itself.

But according to recent reports, some of the bigger clubs around England and Europe alike are interested in the 19-year-old.

Liverpool and Barcelona want Estevao

As reported by Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur, FC Barcelona and Liverpool are among the teams keeping an eye on the Brazilian wonderkid, with his ability to duel being a key factor that they're fonning over.

In Barcelona's case, the Spanish side could be looking to add more depth up the pitch, even after the Summer transfer window saw them spend big on the likes of Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi to fill in on the wings.

As for Liverpool, Estevao would be an important piece to the puzzle given that the Merseyside giants struggled to secure substantial moves after the departures of Mo Salah, with Bradley Barcola and Victor Munoz being the only notable moves upfront during the Summer.

However, it doesn't appear that the Blues are willing to let their wonderkid go so soon, as they have no intention to sell, according to Konur, with their valuation of Estevao sitting around the €110 million mark. This shouldn't come as too much of a surprise, given that it'd be safe to imagine Chelsea wanting, and needing, all hands on deck for a campaign that has seen them labeled as potential Premier League champions, according to some.
