LIV Golf recently entered into a new partnership with a sports data tech firm, as per reports. LIV Golf’s official website announced a multi-year deal with Trackman, a sports technology company founded in 2003. The company tracked the LIV Golf ball for the 2025 live event broadcasts, placing radar units on the 18 tee boxes.
The partnership will stay intact for the next three years, applicable to LIV Golf’s global schedule, to enhance LIV’s broadcast operations, and more such utilities. Moreover, the Trackman data will provide a pre-show broadcast of the driving range of the LIV Golf events, and give data on LIV Golf teams’ swing speed, ball, and other such details.
The LIV Golf Executive Vice President, Ross Hallett, shared his thoughts on the new partnership. He added to elaborate on how the Trackman’s stats in last year's LIV events levelled up the insights of fans. His words were ( via LIV Golf):

We share a passion for innovation and a vision to use technology to advance golf and engage fans across the world in new ways, and this partnership is a perfect example of this. Trackman’s impact on our broadcast analytics last year immediately leveled up the insights our fans want to see from our players—whether they’re watching on linear TV via one of LIV Golf’s broadcast partners across 200 international territories, LIV Golf+" "Finding ways for LIV Golf fans to engage directly with Trackman’s data and products will help foster deeper engagement from new and lifelong golfers alike. Everyone at LIV Golf is looking forward to expanding this partnership across our 14 events,” he addedIn 2025, Trackman helped LIV in data tracking and gave out the best results. Like, a 455-yard tee shot by Caleb Surratt in Mexico City was the longest drive of the season, and Josele Ballester had the fastest swing speed, averaging at 133.4 mph.
Golf insider informs LIV Golf's CEO’s claims on financial partnership revenues
The LIV Golf has welcomed a new CEO for the 2025 season. The former LIV Golf shark Greg Norman was replaced by Scott O'Neil, who looks over Norman's duties after the former CEO’s tenure finished. Earlier this year, Flushing It claimed that the new CEO confirmed LIV Golf’s financial partnerships have gone up 10x year by year.
The Flushing It Golf’s Instagram page shared a post, highlighting that LIV Golf entered into some major partnerships in 2025 with broadcast networks like Fox and presenting partners like HSBC. As a result, they increased the partnership revenues exponentially, around 10x over last year.
Apart from new partnership deals, LIV decided on new changes, like the league announced a 72-hole format for the 2026 season and a tournament span of four days, like the PGA Tour.
