Lisa Rinna has addressed the recent TMZ report that she was drugged at The Traitors Season 4 Premiere Watch Party.
Rinna joined co-hosts Rosanna Scotto and Jerry O’Connell on Good Day New York on Thursday, where Scotto brought up the report.
“You made news about, you thought that maybe you were roofied at the party,” Scotto said.
Rinna replied, “Yes, I was.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum confirmed that she took a test, revealing that she “had fentanyl in [her] system.”
“I’m not kidding. I had fentanyl, high levels of amphetamines, and other things, but I can’t talk a lot about it because we’re still dealing with it,” she shared. “It was leaked, and my team is dealing with it now.”
While Rinna would not disclose who she thinks may have been the culprit, she said that “it was at The Abbey in West Hollywood,” where The Traitors Season 4 Premiere Watch Party took place on Jan. 8.
O’Connell explained that The Abbey is “a very popular bar” in West Hollywood that “gets very crowded.” Rinna said that “luckily” her husband, Harry Hamlin, “was there, and was able to get me out of there quickly.”
TMZ reported on Monday (Feb. 23) that Rinna’s Traitors co-star Colton Underwood noticed that she was “completely inebriated,” despite being with her throughout the night and not having that much to drink. According to the report, Underwood made Rinna’s team aware, and they “got her out of there after a group pic.”
Rinna said that she is not the only person to have experienced this at The Abbey.
“So many people that I know have had this happen at The Abbey,” she explained. “All my daughter’s friends. I mean, this is not a first-time thing. This is something that’s gone on for years, and I do think it needs to be a conversation. I’m glad now that it’s out, and we will deal with it. I just haven’t had my own time to do that yet.”
A spokesperson for The Abbey shared a statement with USA Today and Page Six, in which they confirmed that they “immediately conducted a thorough internal review” after Rinna’s team notified them of the situation.
“When she became unwell, our security team assisted her and escorted her safely out of the venue. We pulled and reviewed all available surveillance footage from the time in question and interviewed staff on duty. We found no evidence of drink tampering or suspicious behavior toward her. We cannot speak to medical findings and do not want to speculate about toxicology results. We take any report of a guest feeling unwell or unsafe extremely seriously and follow established investigative protocols,” the statement continued.
