Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown makes football history never done before in the NFL

No one has ever done this before. 

Amon-Ra St. Brown, the superstar wide receiver for the Detroit Lions, has started his own club in NFL history.

The stat: Having 90-plus catches in each of his first five NFL seasons.

He's the first pass catcher to ever do that in the league, according to ESPN's Field Yates.

The Lions landed Amon-Ra as an absolute bargain in the 2021 NFL Draft, the No. 112 overall pick in the fourth round out of USC.

He went for exactly 90 catches in his rookie season, for 912 yards and five touchdowns.

In year two, St. Brown had 106 catches for 1,161 yards and six TDs.

In 2023, it was 119 catches, 1,515 yards and 10 scores.

Then last season, St. Brown went for 115 grabs, 1,263 yards and 12 touchdowns.

This season, St. Brown reached 94 catches by having 13 grabs on Sunday after starting the day with 81.

At this point, if St. Brown stays healthy, it'd make sense to expect this out of him every year for a while now.
