Skip Bayless couldn't take the Dallas Cowboys' 34-26 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, and he openly vented his frustration. The Week 15 loss at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington places the Cowboys on the brink of missing the playoffs for the second consecutive season.

In a video posted after the game on Sunday, Bayless strongly expressed his disappointment at the performance of the team after entering the game with a high level of confidence. The veteran analyst described how he felt seeing the Cowboys lose to the Vikings team that has been underwhelming.

“I made the mistake of eating my dinner at halftime,” Bayless said. “And I nearly puked in the third quarter, and I should have puked in the fourth quarter because I watched my Dallas Cowboys vomit up all over Jerry World what was left of their season. “Vomit all over the carpet. Just puke and puke and puke their guts out because it was a gutless, lifeless, shameful performance. When I least expected it, this team just quit. Just sleepwalked through a game that it eventually lost to J.J. ‘freaking’ McCarthy, 34-26.”

Skip Bayless had a lot of confidence in the Dallas Cowboys winning against the Minnesota Vikings and the remaining opponents on the schedule to make the playoffs. However, he admitted to being delusional after the Vikings secured a win at the AT&T Stadium.

“I really believe we can win this game because we need to stay afloat and stay alive,” Bayless said. “Chasing the Eagles, who I thought were teetering enough that I said, they're gonna lose at Washington. They're gonna lose at Buffalo. “We're gonna catch them. We're gonna win out. We're gonna wind up with that one tie when we actually beat Micah's Packers 40-40. But that one tie was going to give us the edge over the Eagles in the end. I truly deluded myself into believing that scenario.”

Ahead of the game, the Cowboys needed to win out and needed the Philadelphia Eagles to finish with a 2-2 record in their last four games to make the playoffs. As it stands, the Cowboys don't only have to win out, they also need the Eagles to lose out to secure a playoff spot, explaining Skip Bayless' frustration.
