Inter Miami were on the receiving end of a goalless draw against Egyptian side Al Ahly in the first match of the Club World Cup, on June 14 at Hard Rock Stadium, Florida.

While that was not the ideal start to the competition that the Herons were hoping for, Inter Miami still have two matches remaining in the group stage and will be aiming for better results.

Inter Miami are pitted against FC Porto next in the Club World Cup, slated for June 18, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.

Speaking ahead of the match, Inter Miami's Sergio Busquets candidly stated that the clash against the Portuguese club is 'going to be very difficult.'

What did Sergio Busquets say about Leo Messi-led Inter Miami's chances against Porto?

Busquets heaped praise (comments via GOAL) on the strengths of Inter Miami's immediate opponents and told FIFA,

"A lot of desire, a lot of excitement. We know it's going to be a very difficult match. But we can draw on a huge amount of experience in international tournaments from many players. We also have good young players. We'll try to do better and to have that enthusiasm, that ambition," he said.

“Porto have a very defined system, which the coach [Martin Anselmi] has given them. They have very good players. They've also signed new players, they've strengthened, and we know it's going to be very difficult. They are a team that competes almost every year to win its domestic title, where they also have great teams like Sporting and Benfica," added Busquets.

Busquets, then, highlighted that Messi & Co. will be focusing on doing their best and also trying to 'keep a clean sheet.'

“We'll try to be as solid as possible, to do our best with teamwork, and then have some individuality. Above all, we want be solid and try to keep a clean sheet," he concluded.

Porto's first game in the Club World Cup, which was against Brazilian side Palmeiras, also ended in a goalless draw on June 15.
