Emily Armstrong is now part of Linkin Park, and the co-founder of Dead Sara will look to entertain those who missed the band when the group unleashes the “From Zero” World Tour in 2025.

Armstrong, Mike Shinoda, and the rest of the group head to Barclays Center in Brooklyn on July 29. The group returns to the arena they performed in for a mini-tour in September.

Linkin Park fans were introduced to Armstrong during the band’s return via a livestream. Her vocals have received praise, especially when she sings songs from the new album. She had some big shoes to fill following the death of singer Chester Bennington in 2017, and while she was and continues to be under pressure, she has managed to stay true to herself and the band when performing.

“I’m on cloud nine, but then it hits you that there’s a lot of work to be done,” Armstrong told Billboard. “And going into these [older] songs, by a singular voice that’s beloved by so many people — it’s like, ‘How do I be myself in this, but also carry on the emotion and what he brought in this band?’

“It’s Chester’s voice, and it’s mine, but I want it to still feel the way I feel when I listen to the song, because that’s what the fans love. There is a passion to it that I’m hoping I can fill.”
