"Lighting is bad" - Simone Biles explores new passion while showing support towards her husband Jonathan Owens during NFL game

Simone Biles was seen embracing a new role while showing support for her husband, Jonathan Owens, during the recent Chicago Bears game. The Bears competed against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

As Owens and his team geared up to compete in the regular season game, Biles served as the celebrity photographer for the Chicago Bears vs. San Francisco 49ers clash. Biles is usually seen supporting her husband from the sidelines, especially sharing heartwarming hugs and kisses before the game. However, on Sunday, the legendary gymnast was seen capturing her husband's key moments before the kickoff.

She was seen donning a media vest with the number 36 (Owens’ jersey number) written on it. She paired her all-black outfit with statement jewelry, including a ring with JO initials, studded with diamonds. In a video shared by the NFL on Instagram, Biles was seen checking the natural light. She can be heard saying:

"Lighting is bad."

Further, the gymnast was also seen flaunting her customised vest in front of Owens.

Along with Simone Biles, her fellow teammate and Olympic gold medalist Suni Lee was also seen operating the camera during a faceoff between the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions.

Since being away from the gymnastics circuit, Simone Biles has been frequently seen cheering for her husband at NFL games. However, she recently gave her fans a sneak peek into her life outside football. She shared a carousel of pictures, where the multiple-time Olympic medalist was seen embracing different parts of her life.

In one of the pictures, Biles was seen embracing a special moment with her fellow gymnast Suni Lee, where they both are seen sitting on a footpath and laughing out loud. She also shared a few cozy pictures with her husband. Biles gave fans a few glimpses of her dog and her fashion statements. Sharing the pictures, Biles wrote:

"Proof of life outside of football"

Simone Biles was last seen competing at the 2024 Paris Games, where she won three gold and one silver medal. Lee's last competitive appearance also came at the same competition, winning one gold and two bronze medals.
