Lewis Hamilton's recent Instagram post in collaboration with television host/actor Eric Andre has gone viral. The duo has been brought together by Perplexity (an American privately held software company) for a comedy short that all three parties have shared.
As a seven-time Formula 1 world champion, Lewis Hamilton is a renowned name in the world of motorsports and in general. He has a strong following of over 40M on Instagram.
The 42-year-old Eric Andre, on his end, is also a popular figure, courtesy of his past and ongoing antics in the world of entertainment. He is famously known for creating, hosting, and co-writing The Eric Andre Show (2012 - 2023).
In the short video that's been posted via Instagram, Hamilton and Andre can be seen having an interaction in a home-garage setting, and the initial bit of their interaction is as follows:
"Andre: Lewis Alexander Hamilton, whattup neighbour? Hamilton: Eric, how did you... Andre: The gate was open. Hamilton: It's locked. Andre: Yeah, it's pretty short, I hopped it. Hamilton: Look dude, since you are here, make yourself useful and just grab me a T-handle over there."Lewis Hamilton has himself talked about the filming of the short clip via an interview, and added:
"Perplexity is a tool I use to stay curious and keep learning, and working with the team and Eric to bring that to life in a way that really entertains people was brilliant. The filming day was a lot of fun, and I hope people enjoy it and it genuinely highlights how Perplexity can help with any question and moment." "Rome wasn't built in a day": Lewis Hamilton on his 2025 F1 campaign with Ferrari
F1 Grand Prix of Mexico - Source: GettyLewis Hamilton has not had the smoothest of times since the start of the ongoing 2025 Formula 1 season. Being a Ferrari driver has proved a bit difficult for him, as the campaign is 20 rounds down and he has yet to amass his maiden podium finish (full-fledged Grand Prix).
However, amid his tough stint with the Maranello-based team, the Brit is focused on staying positive. Via a recent interaction with Express.co.uk, he has added:
"It's beautiful and there have been plenty of positives, although a lot of responsibility and weight comes with it. Everyone expects to win straight away, but Rome wasn't built in a day. Only when you're inside a team can you really, truly understand how it works and how F1 works."Round 21 of the 2025 Formula 1 season will take place this week at Interlagos (Brazilian Grand Prix). Hamilton has a massive fan base in the country.
