Lebron James shares tweet concerning Jayson Tatum's scary injury in Game 4

The Boston Celtics took on the New York Knicks Monday night in Madison Square Garden, and all Celtics fans held their breath towards the end of the fourth quarter.

In a close game, Jayson Tatum planted his foot reaching for a loose ball, before falling to the ground clutching at his right foot.

Whether it was his Achilles or ankle is still not known, but Joe Mazzulla confirmed he will undergo an MRI as early as Tuesday, May 13.

After the game, fans took to Twitter to discuss, when one familiar face chimed in to share his thoughts and prayers.

Lebron James, a 22-year veteran who has formed a relationship with Tatum throughout his career, showed his support for the 27-year-old. 

Tatum was helped off the floor, putting no weight on his leg.

Later, it was shown that he was being wheelchaired to the locker room, with his hands covering his face, and he seemed emotional. 

The Celtics now trail the Knicks 3-1 in the second round of the playoffs. 

Tatum’s injury should be updated by Tuesday, however, if he is seriously injured, the Celtics are in trouble.
