LeBron James passes fellow Lakers legend to become NBA all-time wins leader

1 hour ago 3

Los Angeles Lakers star forward LeBron James made some more NBA history on Tuesday night.

With the Lakers' 127-113 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, James became the NBA's all-time leader in total wins (regular season and playoff wins combined), passing fellow Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in the process.

Abdul-Jabbar won 1,228 combined regular season and postseason games over the course of his career. James has now won 1,229 and counting.

At this point in his career, it feels like James is breaking NBA records on a weekly basis. In fact, it was just a couple of weeks ago that James broke the record for most games played in league history.

Now, James is the league's all-time leader in wins, games and points. That's a pretty impressive legacy. And he's not done yet. James still has the remainder of the current campaign to add to his marks, and he could very well decide to play another season, at least.
