The Los Angeles Lakers saw their season come to an end with a 4-1 series loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Lakers' duo of LeBron James and Luka Doncic wasn't enough as the Timberwolves advanced to the second round of the NBA Playoffs.
Since the loss, questions have swirled about whether or not LeBron James will retire, although Bronny might've leaked those plans by accident.
On Friday, a new report surfaced regarding James being injured during Game 5, as Dave McMenamin of ESPN revealed.
"An MRI on Thursday revealed that Lakers star LeBron James suffered a Grade 2 MCL sprain in his left knee in the fourth quarter of Game 5, a league source told ESPN on Friday. The injury entails a three-to-five-week recommended recovery timeline, the source told ESPN."
The injury happened with 8:39 remaining in the game when Donte DiVincenzo collided with LeBron.

Instead, the Lakers season is over, and the Timberwolves are continuing on against either the Houston Rockets or Golden State Warriors.
