After parting ways with the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James is once again the biggest free agent in the league. His longevity continues to be more impressive as he was in the same situation during the 2010 offseason.
Multiple teams are in on him, with the Golden State Warriors as the early favorites. The prospect of him playing with Stephen Curry was exciting, but it seems they were being used as leverage rather than as favorites.
The latest LeBron James rumor could be the worst news for the Warriors
As free agency rolls on, there have been some pretty interesting rumors surrounding LeBron. The league has already made a lot of free agency signings, so everyone is looking forward to what decision he comes up with.
Some people have thrown around the idea of playing for the Miami Heat or the rejuvenated Philadelphia 76ers. However, the favorite at the moment is a third stint at his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Ringer's Bill Simmons has spoken about the rumors, and he has heard that the Warriors were never the best option for LeBron. It is a big blow to the people who wanted two of this generation's top stars to play together, but that was not the case.
"And now it’s pretty clear they (Golden State) were being used as leverage as LeBron goes back to Cleveland… the Cleveland thing is done," Simmons said on his podcast for The Ringer.
It would have been an interesting situation had LeBron joined the Warriors. That kind of move is something you could see in the NBA 2K games, but that won't be the reality because Simmons believes another homecoming will happen.
