Landman season 2 cast and characters: Meet the stars behind the series and the roles they play

Landman season 2 arrives on Paramount+ on Sunday, November 16, 2025, with 10 weekly episodes and an early screening at PaleyFest New York on November 9. The drama returns to West Texas right where the oil fights, boardroom deals, and family tension stopped in January. Viewers can stream it only on Paramount+ in every region where the service is active.

Landman season 2 follows Tommy Norris taking the M-Tex Oil job he never wanted, Cami Miller trying to run the empire her husband built, and Gallino pushing deeper into the energy business. The pressure now comes from the cartel, from bankers, and from inside the Norris home, so the stakes are higher than the wells.

The season is led again by Billy Bob Thornton, with Demi Moore moving to second billing, Ali Larter back in the family lane, Andy Garcia keeping the criminal link alive, and incoming series regular Sam Elliott joining the ensemble.

Landman season 2 keeps most faces from the first season and adds a few new cast. The returning cast are Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph, Jacob Lofland, Kayla Wallace, Paulina Chávez, James Jordan, Colm Feore, Mark Collie and Andy Garcia.

Landman season 2 also brings Sam Elliott as a series regular, plus new recurring names Guy Burnet, Miriam Silverman and Stefania Spampinato. Jon Hamm’s Monty Miller is not coming back because the character died at the end of season 1.

Billy Bob Thornton as Tommy Norris

Tommy is now the reluctant president of M-Tex Oil and still the man everyone calls when a field goes bad, a family flares up, or the cartel leans too hard. He must finish Monty’s risky drilling deal, work beside a lawyer he never trusted, and shield his children from the noise around the company.

Thornton is an Oscar-winning writer for Sling Blade and an Oscar-nominated actor, and TV viewers will link him to Fargo season 1, Prime Video’s Goliath, and films such as A Simple Plan, Monster’s Ball and Bad Santa.

Demi Moore as Cami Miller

Cami steps in after Monty’s death to protect the business he left behind and to prove to nervous bankers that she can hold the same line her husband did. She will have to make sharper deals, clash with Tommy when their interests split, and face power players who doubt a widow can run an oil company.

Moore is fresh off her Oscar-nominated turn in The Substance and is already known for Ghost, A Few Good Men, G.I. Jane, and more.

Ali Larter as Angela Norris

Angela is Tommy’s ex-wife and renewed partner in parenting. She will stand beside Ainsley as college plans hit real-life barriers and will still expect Tommy to deliver for the family even while he runs M-Tex. Her scenes help show what the oil wars do to the people back home.

Larter is known for Heroes, Final Destination, and the Resident Evil films.

Andy Garcia as Gallino

Gallino is the calm yet dangerous cartel figure who wants to fold oil into his criminal network. He likes Tommy, but his friendship always comes with a price, and part of season 2 will track how far he can move into Texas business before Tommy or Cami push back.

Garcia earned an Oscar nomination for The Godfather Part III and has led films such as Ocean’s Eleven, Ocean’s Twelve, The Untouchables, The Mule, and the 2022 remake of Father of the Bride.

Sam Elliott – role to be revealed

Elliott joins the series this year as a full-time regular. Paramount+ has kept the exact character under wraps, but the casting notice makes it clear he will be tied to the oil and West Texas part of the story, reuniting him with Sheridan after 1883. Expect him to interact with Tommy and Cami as the power map shifts.

Elliott won a SAG Award for 1883 and was Oscar-nominated for A Star Is Born. Audiences also know him from Tombstone, The Big Lebowski, and long stretches of Western-leaning roles.

What is Landman season 2 all about? what you can expect from the series

Season 2 keeps the core idea: oil money colliding with family, crime and politics in West Texas. Tommy now has to steer a company that could go broke if its big exploration plan fails, while Cami tries to prove she can run what Monty built.

At the same time, Gallino wants a stake in legal drilling, the Norris kids face adult choices, and new players like Charlie Newsom and Greta Stidham pull the story into education and engineering.
