Wrong place at the wrong time.
That's what happened to Charlotte Hornets superstar LaMelo Ball during Monday afternoon's home matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans.
Ball went to save a loose ball near the sideline in the first quarter. The ball was traveling right toward Hornets head coach Charles Lee.
As Ball dove for the ball, his head collided directly with his coach, snapping Ball's neck back.

They did rule that he'd be available to return. It appears he has a large cut over his right eye, but apparently no lasting damage.

Apparently, this one looked a lot worse than it actually was.
