The Baltimore Ravens' offense is going to look different next season.
The Ravens have a new head coach in Jesse Minter and a new offensive coordinator in Declan Doyle and their fingerprints will be all over everything. The good news for Ravens fans is that the early returns appear promising.
Star quarterback Lamar Jackson has been impressed with the new-look offense under Doyle, and he's expecting some increased explosiveness from the unit as a result.
"I feel like there's going to be a lot of explosiveness this year," Jackson said. "The way Declan calls plays and his creativity with his mind -- how detailed he is -- it's mind-blowing."
Overall, Jackson has been happy with the new coaching that he has been on the receiving end of.
"I like the coaching," Jackson said. "I want to be detailed, as well, [and] keep the defense honest. So, when we're doing everything right -- the little things right -- the defense doesn't know what we're doing [or] what we're capable of on offense on any given play. With the type of coaching that Declan is bringing, that I believe he's bringing, the sky's the limit."
