France faces Paraguay in the Round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup on July 4.
While anything can happen in a World Cup match, it’s hard to see France losing this match, if only because of how great it has looked throughout the tournament to this point.
And a big part of that has been Kylian Mbappe, who has already scored a staggering six goals during this year’s World Cup, which means he has scored eight World Cup goals across three career tournaments (including when France won the 2018 World Cup).
One thing that’s different for Mbappe during this tournament compared with those in the past is that he now has a public girlfriend, as he’s dating Spanish actor Ester Exposito.
While Exposito would surely love to watch Mbappe’s World Cup excellence in person, she’s also busy with her own career. And an Instagram Story post she made on July 3 showed that she doesn’t appear to be in the United States now, instead at some scenic outdoor spot in what appears to be Europe.
Exposito can be seen wearing a hot pink bandana, a pink shirt and blue jeans in the photo. Her face isn’t shown, but there’s no doubt that it’s her in the story post.
Perhaps Exposito will be able to attend one of Mbappe’s France games later in the tournament, especially if he faces her home country of Spain in the semifinal.
In the meantime, she’ll have to watch him and his French teammates tearing it up against Paraguay on TV.
