KUN Kicks Off ‘THE DEADMAN’ Tour in Macau: See Photos

KUN kicked off his “THE DEADMAN” Asia Tour with two consecutive shows on Aug. 2 and 3 in Macau, China, bringing the world of his “Deadman” project to the live stage. Built around the project’s narrative, the 22-song set unfolded as an “infinite game,” following KUN as a player navigating a Western wasteland arena through three cycles of death and rebirth.

Beyond its cinematic storytelling, the show also revealed KUN’s strength as a live performer. With live vocals throughout and a powerful dance break, he showcased his versatility as an artist and connected deeply with audiences.

The opening night coincided with KUN’s 28th birthday, with fans across the venue singing “Happy Birthday” to the artist. The moment added an intimate touch to a cinematic production centered on fate, rebirth and self-discovery.

Through the successive releases of “Deadman,” “Jasmine,” “What a Day,” and “Colder,” and the full reveal of his self-titled album KUN, he has gradually expanded from the emotional snapshot of a single track to the complete narrative arc of an album. Step by step, KUN has shaped a musical voice entirely his own, guiding listeners toward a truer and deeper self.

In his artistry, KUN has always charted his own course. Rather than answering to external expectations, he seeks answers within himself, capturing those fleeting yet fiercely honest emotions. He weaves the primal tension of root rhythms, the warmth of the vinyl era, and the precision and edge of digital-age sound design into his work, stripping away surface polish and allowing the music to return to its purest form. Following its Macau launch, the “THE DEADMAN” Tour will continue its journey across Asia. KUN has officially announced the Singapore stop, which will take place Oct. 24 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
