Still in a bad place.
Kristen Bell was scheduled to appear on the “Today” show on Wednesday morning, along with her “Nobody Wants This” co-star Justine Lupe, according to the NBC show’s schedule.
But amidst Bell’s controversy, the “Veronica Mars” actress was a no-show. Lupe made the appearance alone, with no mention of where Bell was.
The Post reached out to Bell’s reps for comment.
Bell, 45, faced backlash for a social media post she made about her husband, Dax Shepard, 50, who she’s been married to since 2013. The couple share daughters Lincoln, 11, and Delta, 10.
On Saturday, Bell shared an Instagram photo of herself with Shepard, hugging on their bed, with the caption, “Happy 12th wedding anniversary to the man who once said to me: ‘I would never kill you. A lot of men have killed their wives at a certain point. Even though I’m heavily incentivized to kill you, I never would.’ ❤️.”
In the comments section, outraged fans slammed “The Good Place” actress.
They accused her of making light of domestic violence – especially since it’s domestic violence awareness month.
“Just an fyi, posting this caption during domestic violence awareness month is unbelievably tone deaf :/ please reconsider,” one commenter wrote.
“Kristen there’s no way you posted this during domestic violence awareness month 😭,” another said.
A third person noted, “Please don’t joke about domestic violence. Please keep in mind that this is something real that lots of people suffer on a daily basis.”
Bell and Shepard have yet to publicly respond to the controversy.
Bell is currently promoting Season 2 of her Netflix rom-com “Nobody Wants This,” in which she plays an agnostic woman dating Adam Brody’s rabbi character. The show returns Thursday.
