Kobe Bryant's 'Fade to Black' final game shoes to return for 10-year anniversary

Kobe Bryant's last dance is one that many will never forget. 

Before he died tragically along with his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna "Gigi" Bryant, in a helicopter crash in California in 2020, the Los Angeles Lakers legend capped off his career wearing a pair of his black and gold Nike Kobe 11 Elite Low's - the Fade to Black design to be exact. 

Nike has now decided to bring back the infamous shoes that Bryant wore in his final NBA game, according to "Sole Retriever.

The Fade To Blacks will return for the 10th anniversary of Nike's Mamba Day celebration honoring the NBA star's final performance. 

When will the Nike Kobe 11 Protro Fade to Black be released? 

The Nike Kobe 11 Elite Protro Fade to Blacks will be released for the first time since 2016, when they drop on April 13, 2026.

They will be available at Nike and select retailers online and in person.

The shoes will retail for $200 and up. 

Will the sneakers be the same? 

Fans are already starting to speculate if the newly release Kobe 11 Fade to Blacks will be look same. 

In a post shared to Instagram, one fan wrote, "These look different or am I tripping?"

"nah u not the gold swoosh is off," a second person commented. 

"swoosh def smaller," a third said. 

"Swoosh looks smaller and more of a flat fold than the original," a fourth added. 

The sneakers will feature a full upper blacked-out mesh with a matching midsole and gold swooshes. They also have a "4.13.16" detail running down the heel of the shoe in gold to represent Bryant's final NBA game.
