Knicks use furious rally to stun Celtics in Game 1 overtime thriller

The Knicks pulled off the comeback after trailing by as much as 20 in the third quarter and nine to start the fourth, but held on in overtime to come away with a 108-105 Game 1 win over the Celtics in Boston on Monday night.

OG Anunoby, Mikal Bridges and Karl-Anthony Towns all came up with big shots in the overtime period, which started with Bridges coming away with a key steal on Jayson Tatum.

Anunoby was fouled on a dunk for the first basket in OT and then hit the free throw, and Bridges knocked down a 23-foot 3-pointer to give the Knicks a six-point lead

A Towns tip-in with 1:47 left became a crucial basket after the Celtics pulled within three, but with three seconds on the clock, Bridges came up with another massive steal to secure the victory.

The Knicks now have a 1-0 series lead with Game 2 slated to take place on Wednesday at TD Garden.
