The New York Knicks could choose a third-string center for their 14th roster spot.
Big men James Wiseman, Tony Bradley, and Drew Eubanks all signed to compete in training camp with the Knicks.
Wiseman and Bradley still have a chance to crack the opening night roster, but Eubanks won't be around any longer.
"Knicks center Drew Eubanks sustained a torn pectoral muscle and will be sidelined for an extended period of time, sources tell ESPN," ESPN's Shams Charania wrote on X. "New York will waive Eubanks, who was competing for a reserve center spot in training camp."
Eubanks' injury opens the door for Wiseman and Bradley to make a final impression during Thursday's preseason finale against the Toronto Raptors.

During Tuesday's loss to the Raptors, Eubanks provided eight points, two rebounds, two assists, and one block in 15 minutes. He appeared in three of New York's four preseason games.
During the 2025-26 season, Eubanks averaged 5.2 points and 3.0 rebounds per game in 41 contests with the Sacramento Kings.
Wiseman scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in 24 minutes on Tuesday. The former No. 2 overall pick will try to make up for lost time due to injuries and ineffectiveness.
