The New York Knicks are on a roll and are currently tied with the Charlotte Hornets for the longest win streaks in the entire NBA at eight.

New York squeezed out of a close one, beating the Denver Nuggets in double overtime on Wednesday night, as they travel to Detroit to take on the Eastern Conference's No. 1 seed, the Pistons.

The Knicks have been dealing with injuries to multiple players within their lineup, and they have received updates heading into the matchup.

Karl-Anthony Towns listed as doubtful, Josh Hart is probable for Knicks' matchup vs. Pistons

According to the NBA's most recent injury reports, the Knicks have listed Miles McBride (sports hernia) and Jose Alvarado (recently traded) as players who won't be suiting up on Friday.

McBride is set to undergo surgery to address a sports hernia that was discovered recently. He's expected to miss a significant time and may not be back for New York until the playoffs, The Athletic's Fred Katz reported.

Jose Alvarado was a player that the Knicks traded for in the days leading up to the Feb. 5 trade deadline. He's not with the team and will have his next chance to make his team debut on Sunday against the Boston Celtics.

Karl-Anthony Towns suffered a graphic laceration in his eye that has resulted in him being labeled as doubtful for Friday night. Meanwhile, OG Anunoby (toe) is questionable, and Josh Hart (ankle) is probable after sitting out of Wednesday's win.

Detroit has Jalen Duren (knee) listed as questionable, while Duncan Robinson (quad) and Tobias Harris (hip) are probable. Recently acquired Dario Saric is not with the team and won't be available for the Pistons.
