Knicks’ grades from their Game 1 overtime win over the Celtics, 108-105, on Monday in Boston:
Jalen Brunson, B
Hit some big shots in the fourth quarter, but missed the potential winner at the end of regulation. It wasn’t a gimme bucket over Al Horford, but makeable. Not Brunson’s best game offensively. But he was great defensively. There was one play, in particular, when he was matched up one-on-one with Jayson Tatum in OT and forced the MVP candidate into a bad miss.
Josh Hart, A-
The Celtics didn’t respect his outside shot — for good reason — so Hart found other ways to impact winning. He had 11 rebounds, including five offensive, while scoring 14 points in 45 hard-fought minutes.

Karl-Anthony Towns, C
Struggled for much of the evening with foul trouble and appeared overmatched. But he came through down the stretch with defensive stops and stayed disciplined not to foul out.
