Kings interested in trading for Celtics' Jrue Holiday

The trade rumors around Celtics players continue, as now the Sacramento Kings are interested in one of Boston's point guards.

The Celtics may look to move off some of the bigger salaries this offseason, and this guard could be on the move in a deal to Sacramento.

Why does a Holiday to Kings deal make sense?

Brett Siegel of Clutch Points recently reported the Kings' interest in picking up Holiday via trade this offseason.

Holiday is an experienced NBA veteran, with all-star selections, all-defensive nods, and a championships with the Celtics and Bucks in the last few years.

Holiday had an off year compared to the 23-24 championship season, but could still be a big help for a team that needs help at the guard position.

With an offseason of navigating moves ahead for Boston, they could use some added depth which they could get in return for a Holiday trade.

The Kings have had a hole at the point guard position after trading away De'Aaron Fox at the trade deadline a few months ago.

The Cetics have the ability to bump up Derrick White or Payton Pritchard as a starting point guard, so they don't necessarily need to get an elite guard in return.
