King Charles fed up with ‘fragile’ Prince Andrew after disgraced duke avoids eviction: expert

King Charles has simply had enough of his brother Prince Andrew’s antics, according to a royal expert.

The monarch had a few extra million to spend on celebrations for his 76th birthday Thursday after officially cutting off his brother’s financial lifeline last month.

The disgraced Duke of York, 64, was poised to leave the Royal Lodge, located on the grounds of Windsor Castle, after Charles refused to continue financially carrying his brother’s weight.

However, it sensationally emerged last week that Andrew had found a financial backer at the eleventh hour — allowing him to remain at the royal digs.

The situation had left Charles fed up, though the king realizes his scandal-scarred brother is “fragile,” according to royal photographer Helena Chard.

“Despite his cancer treatment, he is coping with a rigorous work schedule,” Chard told Fox News. “The Royal Lodge problem still rumbles on, although King Charles has made a decisive move and has financially cut him off.”

The father of two has resided at the sprawling property since 2004. He currently lives there with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson.

“Prince Andrew is no longer a working royal and is viewed as the idle, entitled, privileged duke in the court of public opinion,” she went on.

“King Charles recognizes that Andrew is fragile but also acknowledges that he has inflicted a lot of upset on himself by making appalling judgments, tragic interviews and more,” Chard added.

“Prince Andrew can now maintain his lease and pay for his Windsor home as he has friends in high places who will stump up the cash needed.”

Since finding an anonymous financial backer, Andrew has faced calls from the UK government to reveal the source of his newfound funding.

Exactly where the Duke of York got the funding to remain at the property is still unclear — his only known steady income source is a Royal Navy pension.

It has been reported that Michael Stevens, the Keeper of the Privy Purse, approved Andrew’s financing, prompting mass speculation about where the money had come from.

Andrew — a royal pariah since he was linked to disgraced late financier Jeffrey Epstein — has been living off a hefty allowance from the king’s personal wealth since 2019.

His hefty list of expenses includes $4 million worth of personal security per year, as well as a regular cash allowance — both of which Charles last month said he was no longer willing to cover.

As a result, Andrew was ordered out of the 31-room property into the smaller Frogmore Cottage — but he refused.

The property has been sitting empty since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle handed over the keys in 2023.
